Please see Version Notes for important upgrade information.  DO NOT download the full installation if you do not want to overwrite your existing data!  Always backup your existing data before running any install.

Please select from the following NM Collector Software JE Lite (free version) downloads by operating system.

Operating System
(Requires at least Java 6)
 Full Installation
(Includes Database
will OVERWRITE your existing data - Do NOT use if you want to preserve your data!)		 Update Only
(No Database - will not overwrite your existing data.)		 Notes (Always best to install directly to usb root.)
Special Multi-Platform USB Flash Drive Installation

  1. Download archive.
  2. Extract the contents to your USB Flash Drive - be sure to copy the contents to the USB Drive - not the folder itself.
  3. Run in accordance with platform as listed below.
Windows NMCollectorJE
LiteforWin.exe		 NMCollectorJE
LiteforWinUpdate.exe
  • Full Installation
    1. Download installer.
    2. Run downloaded installer. 
    3. Run NMCollectorJE6.exe
  • Update Only
    1. Download self extracting archive.
    2. Extract the contents to your installation directory.
    Mac
    (OS 10.4 and above with Java 6 )
    		 NMCollectorJE LiteforMac.zip NMCollectorJE LiteforMacUpdate.zip Ensure Java 6 has been installed and set up on your Mac
    1. Download zip archive.
    2. Extract the contents to your installation directory - For Update DO NOT Replace the entire old folder or you will lose your database - just replace what is in the Update folder!
    3. Run NMCollectorJE.app
    Step by step install example with images
    Linux
    		 NMCollectorJE6 Lite.zip NMCollectorJE6 LiteUpdate.zip
    1. Download the appropriate zip archive.
    2. Extract files to installation directory. 
    3. Navigate to the installation directory in a terminal window and issue the following command:

        java -jar NMCollectorJE6.jar.

    Notes:
    Special notes regarding privacy.
    • This program does not plant anything on your system or contact the Internet unless you click a link from within the program and then it only goes to that page.  The only exception is during a Windows install to ensure the correct version of Java is loaded.
    • To verify this claim I recommend you download, purchase (if necessary) and install one of the many privacy programs available on the web. These will notify you when any program is trying to access the Internet. Some are better than others but I have successfully used the following:
  • Zone Alarm
  • COMODO
  • Acronis
